Freshman Christopher Kipchirchir scored two points for the men in the 800 meters.

GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men’s and women’s indoor track & field teams competed at the DePauw (Ind.) University Classic over the weekend at the James A. Hollensteiner Track.

The Lindsey Wilson teams matched 21st place finishes and each scored two points in the 19-event meet.

Lindsey Wilson freshman Christopher Kipchirchir scored the men’s two points with a seventh place finish in the 800 meter run. Kipchirchir finished with a time of 2:00.50.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- The Lindsey Wilson College men’s indoor track and field team finished sixth at the Cedarville (Ohio) University Collegiate Indoor Invitational on Friday at Doden Field House.

The Blue Raiders scored 38 team points to finish sixth in the nine-team event.

Lindsey Wilson senior Zanman Graham led the Blue Raiders with a total of 14 points in a pair of events.

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College cross country and track & field coach Edwin Hagans and sophomore Amanda Johnson were honored on Saturday night at the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association-United States of America Track and Field Awards.

Hagans was selected as Kentucky Small College Women’s College Coach of the Year, while Johnson was named Kentucky Female Race Walker of the Year.

GREENSCASTLE, Ind. -- Individuals of the Lindsey Wilson College Track & Field team broke five school records at the 2007 DePauw Indoor Classic over the weekend.

Five individuals for the women's Track & Field team broke four school records and four qualified for Nationals in four separate events. One individual for the men's Track & Field team broke a school record and earned a national provisional qualifier.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Two Lindsey Wilson College Track & Field individuals qualified for the NAIA National Championships this past weekend at the Cedarville Collegiate Indoor Invitation.

Lindsey Wilson senior Jamaine Gordon set a new meet record with a jump of 46' 09.75" in the men's triple jump event. Gordon, a Fort Campbell, Kentucky, native, finished first place in the event, and qualified for the NAIA Nationals.
