OAKLAND CITY, Ind. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team lost 64-56 to host Oakland City (Ind.) University on Tuesday night.
Lindsey Wilson sophomore center Viktoria Krell -- the reigning Mid-South Conference Player of the Week -- recorded her eighth double-double of the season with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
Lindsey Wilson falls to 12-4 on the season with the loss. Oakland City -- who avenges a 78-63 loss in Columbia in December -- improves to 8-7.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball improved to 12-3 on the season after recording two wins last weekend. The Blue Raiders received votes in the third NAIA National Coaches' Poll of the season released on Monday.
Lindsey Wilson received 58 votes placing them one spot outside of the Top 25.
Union (Tenn.) University (14-1) grabbed the top spot with 311 points and 10 first place votes.
LAKE WALES, Fla. -- Lindsey Wilson College sophomore center Viktoria Krell recorded her seventh double-double of the season and second straight to help the Blue Raiders beat Alice Lloyd College 68-62 on Saturday in the final day of the Warner (Fla.) University New Year's Invitational.
Krell finished with 25 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Blue Raiders to their second win during the three-day event.
The Blue Raiders took advantage of a 27-8 free throw advantage -- while shooting just 37.3 percent (19-of-51) from the field -- to improve to 12-3 on the season. Krell made 15 for 16 from the charity stripe as the Blue Raiders made 27-of-40 freebies.
LAKE WALES, Fla. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team out-scored Saint Thomas (Fla.) University 11-3 in overtime to win 67-59 on Friday at the Warner (Fla.) University 2009 New Year's Invitational.
Lindsey Wilson made three of its five shots in the overtime to improve to 11-3 on the season. Saint Thomas (8-4) hit just 1-of-6 from the field in overtime and made just 28.4 percent (21-of-74) of its shots for the game en route to the loss.
All five Lindsey Wilson starters scored in double figures led by sophomore center Viktoria Krell's sixth double-double of the season. She finished with 15 points and 17 rebounds.
