BEREA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's cross country team scored 56 points and finished second on Saturday at the Mid-South Conference Championships.

Three Blue Raiders earned all-conference after finishing in the race's top-10.

Junior Monicah Maiyo ran the 5,000 meters in 20 minutes and 34 seconds to finish fifth while senior Cassie Niersel ended the race sixth with a time of 20:59. Junior Amanda Johnson crossed the finish line in 10th place with a time of 21:48.

ROME, Ga. - The Lindsey Wilson College women's cross country team finished seventh overall at the 2008 Southeast XC Classic in Rome, Ga. on Saturday.

Lindsey Wilson senior Cassie Niersel led the way with a time of 20 minutes and seven seconds to finish 17th and record 14 points for the Blue Raiders.

Junior Monicah Maiyo finished 31st with a time of 20:40 to help Lindsey Wilson record 206 points as a team.

WILMINGTON, Ohio -- A pair of Lindsey Wilson College women's cross country runners finished in the top 25 today at the Wilmington (Ohio) College Fall Classic.

Lindsey Wilson junior Monicah Maiyo finished 17th and senior Cassie Niersel crossed the line in 22nd to help the Blue Raiders score 271 points for a ninth place finish in the 24-team field.

John Carroll (Ohio) University won the event with 71 points.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's cross country team competed at the Greater Louisville Cross Country Classic on Saturday at E. P. Tom Sawyer State Park.

The Blue Raiders finished 14th in the 28-team field with 382 points in the Blue Division of the event. University of Southern Indiana won the event with 106 points.

Lindsey Wilson junior Monicah Maiyo led the Blue Raiders with a 34th place finish in the 205-woman field. Maiyo ran the 5,000 meters in 20 minutes and 28.83 seconds.
