COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Four Lindsey Wilson College women's soccer players earned All-American honors from the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), the national office announced on Dec. 5.
Senior forward Yolanda Hamilton was named a first team All-American, while senior goalkeeper Carrie Revlett and freshman midfielder Mia Persson were named to the second team. Sophomore midfielder Ida Gregersen was an honorable-mention selection.
DECATUR, Ala. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's soccer team was shutout after 16 straight games with a goal as it lost to Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.) University 2-0 in the quarterfinals of the NAIA National Championship on Wednesday at the Jack Allen Recreation Complex.
Point Loma struck first in the 42nd minute off a free-kick situation from just outside the box. Lindsey Wilson freshman midfielder Patricia Nielsen was called for a foul at the right corner of the box, allowing the Sea Wolves Lauren Hernandez to set up Ashley Adams for the close-range score.

The No. 1 seed Blue Raider women take on Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.) University at 4 p.m. CT in Decatur, Ala., followed by the top seeded men at 9 p.m. against Martin Methodist (Tenn.) College in Fresno, Calif.
DECATUR, Ala. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's soccer team scored a pair of goals in each half, combined with a lockdown defensive effort to shut out Southern Nazarene (Okla.) University 4-0 in the second round of the NAIA National Championship at the Jack Allen Recreation Complex.
Junior midfielder Caitlin Burke wasted little time netting the game-winning goal in the fourth minute. Senior forward Yolanda Hamilton's pass inside the box was collected, but dropped by the keeper, allowing Burke to rebound the ball for the easy goal.

Starting at 1:30 p.m. CT, the Blue Raider men face Bellevue (Neb.) University in Fresno, Calif., followed by the women at 4 p.m. against Southern Nazarene (Okla.) University in Decatur, Ala.
