Jen Tom (sitting, middle) signed to play soccer at Lindsey Wilson next season.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College has signed Jen Tom to NAIA women's soccer scholarships, the school announced on Wednesday.

Tom, a Lebanon, Ky., native, will join the Blue Raider program for the 2008-09 school year.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Five Lindsey Wilson College women’s soccer players received national honors over the weekend as the NAIA announced their 2007 Women’s Soccer All-Americans.

Lindsey Wilson sophomore midfielder Omolyn Davis was selected First-Team All-American, sophomore defender Yolanda Hamilton selected to the Second-Team, freshman midfielder Caitlin Burke to the Third-Team and sophomore goalkeeper Carrie Revlett and freshman forward Kimmia Parker were named Honorable Mention All-American.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women’s soccer team’s dream of a repeat championship ended tonight with a 2-1 loss to Azusa Pacific (Calif.) University in the national semifinals at Embry-Riddle Soccer Stadium.

The Blue Raiders’ season ends with a 17-3-3 record.

Azusa Pacific advances to Tuesday night’s national championship match against Martin Methodist (Tenn.) College, who beat Lee University 2-0 in the other semifinal.

The No. 2-seed Blue Raiders (17-2-3) face third-seeded Azusa Pacific (Calif.) University (19-1-1) at 7 p.m. CT for the right to go to the national championship match on Tuesday night.

Lindsey Wilson senior Sashsheena Stewart scored twice to lift the Blue Raiders into the semifinals where they will face third-seeded Azusa Pacific (Calif.) University.
