COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's soccer team recorded a 2-2 draw at NCAA University of the Michigan over the weekend.

Lindsey Wilson seniors Tiyiselani Shipalane and Ryan Stewart scored back-to-back goals to erase a 2-0 deficit and earn a hard-fought tie.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men’s soccer team captured a pair on indoor soccer tournaments over the weekend at Tusculum (Tenn.) College and Milligan (Tenn.) College.

Lindsey Wilson out-lasted a field of 20 NCAA and NAIA team on Saturday to capture the Tusculum Tournament title. The Blue Raiders beat the host school in the finals 1-0.

On Sunday, Lindsey Wilson won the 12-team tournament at Milligan, beating Lees-McRae (N.C.) College in the finals 2-1.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Five Lindsey Wilson College men’s soccer players earned national honors as the NAIA released the 2007 All-American teams earlier this week.

Lindsey Wilson senior defender Bonivenger Misiko and junior midfielder Nathaniel Jafta were named First Team All-American, while senior defender Tiyiselani Shipalane and senior midfielder Ryan Stewart were named Second Team All-American. Junior goalkeeper Glen Fox earned Honorable Mention All-American.

OLATHE, Kansas -- The Lindsey Wilson College men’s soccer team’s season ended tonight with a 2-1 loss to Auburn University-Montgomery (Ala.) in the NAIA National Tournament quarterfinals at the College Boulevard Activity Center.

AUM advances to Monday’s national semifinals with the win, while the Blue Raiders end the season with a 19-3-0 record.

The second-seeded Lindsey Wilson men (19-2-0) face No. 10-seed Auburn University-Montgomery (Ala.) at 4:30 p.m. CT at the College Boulevard Activity Center in Olathe, Kansas.
