PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- Lindsey Wilson College sophomore Amanda Johnson competed on Saturday at the prestigious Penn Relays.
Johnson finished with a time of 27 minutes and 2.66 seconds in the women's 5,000 meter racewalk.
WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's track and field team finished third on Saturday at the Mid-South Conference Championships hosted by the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.).
The Blue Raiders scored 111 team points in the six team event. Host Cumberlands won the championships with 214 team points. Shorter (Ga.) College claimed second with 208.
COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's track & field team signed Antonette Dorsey to a NAIA scholarship, the school announced on Thursday.
"Antonette will be a great asset to our program. She will no doubt add another dimension to the team," Lindsey Wilson track and field coach Edwin Hagans said. "Her personality fits well with our current team and I am looking forward to coaching and testing her potential."
RICHMOND, Ky. -- A pair of program records fell on Friday as the Lindsey Wilson College women's track and field team competed in the Eastern Kentucky University Open.
Lindsey Wilson College senior Amber Cannon broke her own program record in the 400 meter dash with a time of 58.41 seconds. The Bowling Green, Ky., native, beat her previous mark by .23 seconds.

The Lindsey Wilson men scored 79 team points to finish third in the 14-team field. The Blue Raider women scored 35 points to finish 10th in the 16-team field.
