Senior Candela Castanon leads the Lindsey Wilson women into the national tournament.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's tennis team is the No. 3 seed in the NAIA National Championships beginning next week in Mobile, Ala.

Lindsey Wilson earns one of the eight byes in the 24-team tournament played May 12-16 at the Mobile Tennis Center. The Blue Raiders face a familiar foe in the Tuesday's second round match.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's and women's tennis teams captured the NAIA Region XI Championships today at Coles Ferry Tennis Club at Vanderbilt University.

The Blue Raider men (14-5) won the program's first-ever regional title with a 5-3 win over Bethel (Tenn.) College.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's and women's tennis teams advanced to the Mid-South Conference Tournament finals with wins today in the tournament semifinals at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.

The Lindsey Wilson men defeated Campbellsville (Ky.) University 6-0 in a semifinal match. The top-seeded Blue Raiders advance to tomorrow's final against second-seeded Georgetown (Ky.) College.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College tennis teams grabbed a majority of the honors tonight at the Mid-South Conference tennis banquet.

Lindsey Wilson College senior Candela Castanon was named the MSC women's singles tennis player of the year while sophomore Freddy Luciani shared men's singles tennis player of the year.
