COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College softball program released its 2010 schedule today and there will be no shortage of challenges as the squad prepares to break in the new decade.

Five teams that finished last season ranked in the top 15 of the NAIA make up the early portion of the schedule during a road trip to the Orange Beach Tournament in Orange Beach, Ala., March 5-7 followed by a direct jump into a strong Mid-South Conference schedule.

With runners on first and second base, Blue Raider sophomore outfielder Megan Huckaby hit a deep fly to right field that was caught on a diving catch to secure a 2-1 win for the Hilltoppers in exhibition play.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College's incoming softball class continues to improve with the addition of an experienced transfer, Blue Raider coach Ashley McCool announced on Monday.

Anyibell Ramirez, a junior-college transfer from Southeastern (Iowa) Community College and member of the Venezuelan National Team, will join McCool and the Blue Raiders for the 2010 season.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- A pair of transfers and a high school standout has signed with Lindsey Wilson College softball, LWC coach Ashley McCool announced on Monday.

Jordan Gilland, Ally Goniea and Kristen Spear and will join McCool's first recruiting class in 2009-10.
