The Chris Oliver Show premieres tonight at 6:30 p.m. CT on WAIN 93.5 FM.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- With kickoff for Lindsey Wilson College's first football game in 75 years just two days away, head coach Chris Oliver will take part in the first Chris Oliver Radio Show tonight at 6:30 p.m. CT from the Fiesta Mexico restaurant. The show can be heard live on WAIN 93.5 FM.

Oliver will be joined by sports information director Chris Wells as they talk about everything Lindsey Wilson football from the historical aspect of playing the first game in 75 years to how ready the team is for the first kickoff on Saturday.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Victory Sports Network (VSN) celebrates its ninth season of coverage for sports at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) level with the release of the "Victory Sports Network NAIA Football Game of the Week" schedule, announced on Thursday.

Lindsey Wilson College, in its first season of football in 75 years, has been selected for one of the dates with its game on Sept. 11 against Southern Virginia University at 1:30 p.m. CT at Blue Raider Stadium.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College received national recognition on Wednesday as the Blue Raider football program was mentioned in USA Today.

Lindsey Wilson is one of at least 26 schools in the NAIA and NCAA beginning football over a four year span (2009-2013). Blue Raider football returns -- the program has been dormant for 75 years -- at 1:30 p.m. CT on September 4 against another first-year program, Norte Dame (Ohio) College.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- With just 52 days remaining until kick off, the Mid-South Conference football coaches have ranked first-year program Lindsey Wilson College seventh to round out the East Division in the MSC Football Preseason Coaches' Poll.

Campbellsville (Ky.) University and Georgetown (Ky.) College are the favorites in the East Division, while University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) is the team to beat in the West Division, according to the poll announced today. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team in the preseason poll.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Spring practice is in the books, construction on the new football stadium adjacent to the Louie B. Nunn Cumberland Parkway is nearing completion and the return of football at Lindsey Wilson College is exactly 100 days away.

While there were more than 600 days until kickoff when head coach Chris Oliver was hired, the season opener against Notre Dame (Ohio) College on Sept. 4, 2010 is looming larger than ever.
