COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team has signed Bethany Spillman to a NAIA scholarship, the school announced on Friday.

Spillman joins the Blue Raiders after playing her freshman season at Lee (Tenn.) University in Cleveland, Tenn. The 6-foot forward played at Barren County High School prior to signing with Lee.

JACKSON, Tenn. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women’s basketball team’s season ended here tonight to Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) College with a 73-61 loss in the NAIA National Tournament second round at Oman Arena.

The Blue Raiders (22-12) shot just 33.8 percent (23-of-68) for the game and were never able to get on track offensively en route to the season-ending loss.

After winning the program’s first-ever NAIA National Tournament game on Wednesday, the seventh-seeded Blue Raiders play No. 3-seed Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) College in the second round tonight at Oman Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 9:45 p.m. CT.

JACKSON, Tenn. -- In a season of ups and downs, the Lindsey Wilson College women’s basketball team experienced its best moment of the season here tonight beating Oklahoma Baptist University 78-74 in the opening round of the NAIA National Tournament at Oman Arena.

The Blue Raiders advance to Friday’s second round where they will face Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) College who beat McKendree (Ill.) College 69-49.
