COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson men's soccer team shut out Martin Methodist (Tenn.) College for a 2-0 win on Saturday night at Lindsey Wilson Park.
The match opened very physical as Martin Methodist's senior defenseman Luke Beckett took down Lindsey Wilson forward Moses Aduny in the penalty box during the ninth minute. That set up a penalty kick for the Blue Raiders which was taken by senior midfielder Nathaniel Jafta.
Jafta placed the ball beautifully into the right corner to give Lindsey Wilson the early 1-0 lead.

Caetano, a Sao Paulo, Brazil, native, earned his first shutout of the season with a 1-0 win over No. 13-ranked Park (Mo.) University on Saturday, Aug. 30
The MSC award is Caetano's first of the season and second of his career.
