COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's track & field team signed Morgan Gagle to a NAIA scholarship, the school announced on Tuesday.

Gagle, a Danville, Ky., native, will join the Blue Raiders in the 2008-09 season.

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. -- Lindsey Wilson College sophomore Amanda Johnson claimed the first point for the track and field team today at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships at Ralph Korte Stadium.

Johnson finished eighth in the 15-woman 3,000 meter Race Walk with a time of 16 minutes and 19.61 seconds. The Morganfield, Ky., native, scored a single point for women's track and field team.

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- Lindsey Wilson College sophomore Amanda Johnson competed on Saturday at the prestigious Penn Relays.

Johnson finished with a time of 27 minutes and 2.66 seconds in the women's 5,000 meter racewalk.

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's track and field team finished third on Saturday at the Mid-South Conference Championships hosted by the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.).

The Blue Raiders scored 111 team points in the six team event. Host Cumberlands won the championships with 214 team points. Shorter (Ga.) College claimed second with 208.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's track & field team signed Antonette Dorsey to a NAIA scholarship, the school announced on Thursday.

"Antonette will be a great asset to our program. She will no doubt add another dimension to the team," Lindsey Wilson track and field coach Edwin Hagans said. "Her personality fits well with our current team and I am looking forward to coaching and testing her potential."
