COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team's seven-match winning streak was halted tonight as No. 10-ranked Georgetown (Ky.) College beat the Blue Raiders 3-0 at Biggers Sports Center.

Lindsey Wilson (13-3 overall and 4-2 in the Mid-South Conference) committed 21 hitting errors -- the most the season in a three game match -- en route to the 25-22, 25-16, 25-23 loss.

Georgetown -- winners of 11 straight -- improves to 13-5 and 6-0 in the MSC with the win.

MIDWAY, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team continued its outstanding play with a 3-0 sweep of Midway (Ky.) College on Friday.

The Blue Raiders extended their winning streak to seven matches with the 25-13, 25-14, 25-18 win. Lindsey Wilson improves to 13-2 on the season with the win.

Lindsey Wilson freshman outside hitter Mirjam Pfyl led the Blue Raider hitting attack with 15 kills. She also led the team with a.636 hitting percentage for the match.

ST. CATHARINE, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team won their sixth straight match sweeping Saint Catharine tonight.

The Blue Raiders dominated the match winning the three games, 25-12, 25-12, 25-10. Lindsey Wilson improves to 4-1 in the Mid-South Conference and stand at 12-2 on the season.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, as the Blue Raiders host Georgetown (Ky.) College at Biggers Sports Center.

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team won their fifth straight match with a 3-0 win over host University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) on Tuesday night.

The Blue Raiders improve to 11-2 on the season, including 3-1 in the Mid-South Conference with the 25-14, 25-19, 25-22 win. Cumberlands falls to 5-6 on the season and 1-2 in conference play.

Lindsey Wilson freshman Mirjam Pfyl led the Blue Raiders with 17 kills for the match.

Sat, Sep 20, 2008 - [Volleyball]

LEBANON, Tenn. -- The Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team won all four of their matches over the weekend at the Cumberland (Tenn.) University Volleyball Classic.

On Friday night, the Blue Raiders swept Shorter (Ga.) College 25-18, 25-19, 25-18 and closed the night with a 13-25, 27-25, 25-22, 25-18 win over the host Bulldogs.

The Blue Raiders duplicated their Friday sweep with another pair of wins on Saturday.
