Day One Results

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. -- Sharon Ronoh and Katie Hartney each won today to earn all-conference honors at the Mid-South Conference Championships hosted at James H. Taylor II Stadium on Cumberlands' (Ky.) campus.

Ronoh won the 10,000-meter run by more than two minutes with a time of 36 minutes and 53.29 seconds.

Georgetown freshman Tayler Godar -- who is the track athlete of the week -- joins Hartney with this week's Mid-South honor.

DANVILLE, Ky. -- Katie Hartney and Ruth Olson-Jeffries combined to score 28 points to help the Lindsey Wilson women's track & field team to a seventh place finish today at the Centre (Ky.) Invitational.

Hartney recorded a second, third and fourth in three different throwing events for 19 points while Olson-Jeffries placed third in the 400-meter hurdles and sixth in the 100-meter hurdles for nine points.

COLUMBIA, Ky. – Distance specialists Sharon Ronoh and Sophie Tonneau both had two first-place finishes to lead the Lindsey Wilson women's track & field team to a third-place finish at the first LWC Invitational on Saturday at Blue Raider Stadium.

The Blue Raiders had six total top marks to finish third overall with 128.74 team points. Campbellsville (Ky.) won the invitational with 220.5 and Centre (Ky.) was the runner-up with 181.

ROME, Ga. -- Lindsey Wilson College added a pair of first-place finishes on the final day of the Mid-South Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Shorter (Ga.) to finish sixth overall with 90 team points.

Shorter won the MSC Championship with 249 points, Cumberlands (Ky.) took second with 135 and Bethel (Tenn.) rounded out the top three with 115.

RICHMOND, Ky. -- Competing against competition from all levels of the NCAA and NAIA, the Lindsey Wilson College women's track & field team finished 10th on Friday night in the Eastern Kentucky University Open at the Tom Samuels Track.

Teams earned points for top-eight individual finishes and the Blue Raiders racked up 16 points to finish in 10th place. Bellarmine (Ky.) won the open with 140 points, Eastern Kentucky took second with 134 and Marshall rounded out the top three with 73.

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College's Sharon Ronoh qualified for nationals while Ruth Olson set a school record today at the University of the Cumberlands Outdoor Track & Field Invitational.

Ronoh and Olson helped the Blue Raiders to a fourth place finish in the 15-team field. The pair combined for 26 individual points as Lindsey Wilson posted 70 team points in today's event.
