GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- John Paul Williamson qualified for the national championships and Charlie Mullennex broke a program record today at the DePauw (Ind.) Classic at the Hollensteiner Track.

The Blue Raiders finished fifth as a team with 67 points. Taylor (Ind.) won the event with 166 points followed by Cumberlands (Ky.) with 116 points.

GENEVA, Ohio -- The 47th Annual Men's NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships are set to start on Thursday in Geneva, Ohio.

For the second-straight year, the SPIRE Institute Track and Field Sports Complex will host the event, which welcomes over 130 men's and women's teams from across the United States.

GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- Joshua Kles broke a school record in the shot put and another record mark was set in a relay as the Lindsey Wilson College men's track & field team finished eighth out of 18 schools at the DePauw Indoor Classic on Saturday at Hollensteiner Track.

The Blue Raiders finished with 35 team points in the regular-season finale of the indoor season, while Wabash took first place with 146 points, Bellarmine (Ky.) finished second (102) and Taylor (Ind.) rounded out the top three with 81 points.

GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's track & field team finished seventh at the DePauw (Ind.) University Invitational on Saturday at the Hollensteiner Track.

The quartet of Erico Smith, John Quinn, Takudzwa Mhlanga and Kameron Spivey led the Blue Raiders as they teamed up to set a program record in the 4x200 meter relay. The relay team won the event to earn 10 points by finishing with a time of one minute and 33.41 seconds.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's indoor track and field team finished sixth at the Cedarville (Ohio) University Collegiate Indoor Invitational at the Doden Field House on Friday.

The Blue Raiders scored 55 points in the event that ended on Saturday morning. Cornerstone (Ohio) University won the 17-team event with 131 points.

Lindsey Wilson freshman Erico Smith claimed the only Blue Raider win of the invitational with a first place finish in the 200-meter dash. Smith -- who scored 10 points for the Blue Raiders for the win -- hit the tape with a time of 23.42 seconds, four-hundredths of a second ahead of second place.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The 2011 Lindsey Wilson College men's indoor track & field season ended with a pair of NAIA All-Americans after the Vergara twins qualified for the race-walk championship and finished in fourth and fifth place for the Blue Raiders.

Sophomore Ricardo and Roberto qualified for the race walk at the NAIA National Championships during the regular season and then made a strong run at an individual title. Ricardo finished fourth in 12 minutes and 54.98 seconds, while Roberto crossed the finish in 13:22.49 to take fifth place.

GENEVA, Ohio -- Sophomore brothers Ricardo and Roberto Vergara finished back-to-back at fourth and fifth place, respectively, in the 3,000-meter race walk to earn All-American honors at the NAIA Men's Indoor Track & Field National Championships on Friday at the GaREAT Sports Complex.

Ricardo crossed the finish line with a time of 12 minutes and 54.98 seconds, while Roberto was close behind in 13:22.49.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -- Lindsey Wilson College freshman Jairus Kipkemoi competed at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships on Friday.

Kipkemoi finished ninth in the second heat of the men's 3,000 meter run. He finished the 3,000 meters with a time of 8 minutes and 54.78 seconds.

GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's indoor track & field team finished in 9th place at the 2010 DePauw Indoor Classic on Saturday at the Hollensteiner Track.

Roscoe Moore finished eighth in the finals of the 55-meter dash with a time of 6.98 seconds to earn a team point for the Blue Raiders. Ysidro Sorilla finished 15th in the 400-meter dash in 55.35 seconds, followed by Geoffrey Hayes (58.75) and Nathan Davis (1:01.60) in 19th and 20th place respectively.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Six Lindsey Wilson College freshmen led the men's indoor track and field team to a fourth place finish at the Cedarville (Ohio) University Indoor Invitational on Friday.

The Blue Raiders -- competing in their first event of the season -- finished with 40 team points in the eight-team event. Host Cedarville won the meet with 230.5 points.

TOMPKINSVILLE, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's track & field team signed Isaac Roddy to a NAIA scholarship, the school announced on Friday.

Roddy, a Tompkinsville, Ky., native, will join the Blue Raiders in the 2009-10 season.

"Isaac is a great addition to Lindsey Wilson," Lindsey Wilson College head coach Edwin Hagans said. "He is very familiar with the cross country class that will be attending Lindsey Wilson next season."
