Tom Opdenbrouw - Head Coach
 

Coach Tom Opdenbrouw enters his eighth season in 2008 as the head coach of the Blue Raider softball program.

Opdenbrouw led the Blue Raiders to back-to-back 30 wins seasons over the last two years.

In 2007 the Blue Raiders reached the NAIA Region XI Tournament for the third time in the last four seasons with a runner-up finish in the MSC Tournament. The 31 wins during the season, is tied for the second most wins in one season in the program’s history.

During his tenure, Opdenbrouw has led the Blue Raiders to a pair of Mid-South Conference Tournament titles and consecutive appearances in the NAIA Region XI Softball tournament in 2004 and 2005.

Opdenbrouw recorded his 100th career win on April 10, 2005, in a 4-0 win over Cumberland College and sets just 27 wins away from his 200th.

Prior to coming to Lindsey Wilson, Opdenbrouw spent two years as associate head basketball coach and assistant softball coach, along with other duties, at State University of New York Institute of Technology at Utica/Rome.

In addition to his softball coaching responsibilities, Opdenbrouw also serves as head coach of the Lindsey Wilson bowling program.

Opdenbrouw and his wife, Eva reside in Columbia.
