Brandon Burns begins his first season in 2011-12 as head men’s and women’s bowling coach at Lindsey Wilson College.

The appointment is the first head coaching position for Burns after serving a graduate assistant for the Lindsey Wilson women’s basketball team in 2010-11 and working as a student-assistant for the Blue Raider men’s basketball team for four years.

In addition to his bowling coaching duties, Burns will continue to serve as a graduate assistant for the women’s basketball team during the upcoming season.

Burns owns numerous top-10 finishes in the Kentucky State Bowling Association Tournament and Bowling Green Bowling Association Tournament. He finished first in the 49th Annual KSBA Tournament in All Events with a score of 2,145.

Additionally, Burns finished ninth at the KSBA Tournament in singles with a score of 734.

Burns graduated from Lindsey Wilson in 2008.
