Drew Burwash begins his ninth season as the Lindsey Wilson College women's soccer head coach in 2011.
Burwash has led Lindsey Wilson to the NAIA National Tournament in each of his eight seasons, including three of the last five NAIA Final Fours. In those eight tournaments, the Blue Raiders have failed to reach the national semifinals just three times.
Burwash has led the Blue Raiders to three national championship matches and to the program's two NAIA National Championships. He is a two-time NAIA National Coach of the Year (2004 and 2006).
In 2004, Burwash led the Blue Raiders to a 19-0-6 record -- the program's only unbeaten season -- and the program's first national championship. He again led the Blue Raiders to a national championship in 2006 with a four overtime 2-1 win over Azusa Pacific University. Lindsey Wilson finished that season with a 24-2-0 record.
Under Burwash's direction, Lindsey Wilson women's soccer has amassed a 157-24-12 record, including a 43-0-1 conference regular season record.
Burwash has coached 24 NAIA All-Americans, including one NAIA National Player of the Year. Sixty-five student-athletes have earned All Mid-South Conference honors during Burwash's tenure, including seven MSC Players of the Year.
In addition to the two national championships, Burwash has led the Blue Raiders to eight Mid-South regular season and tournament championships and three NAIA Region XI Championships.
In his first season at the helm of the women's soccer program, the Blue Raiders scored a NAIA record 162 goals during the season and won a program-best 20 consecutive games during the season while compiling a 25-2-0 record.
Prior to taking over the women's program, Burwash served as an assistant coach for the women's team for one season and for the men's program for five seasons, where he helped the Blue Raider men win four NAIA National Championships.
Prior to becoming a coach, Burwash was a standout goalkeeper at Lindsey Wilson, where he was a two-time NAIA All-American (1992-93).
Burwash was a member of the 1992 Blue Raider squad that became the first team in school history to qualify for the NAIA Men's Soccer National Tournament.
For his efforts during his playing days, Burwash was elected to the NAIA Hall of Fame in 2000 and the Lindsey Wilson College Athletic Hall of Fame in 2004.

Debbie McGuinness begins her fifth season in 2011 at Lindsey Wilson College as the head assistant women's soccer coach and head junior varsity coach.
In her first four seasons, McGuinness has helped lead the Blue Raiders to four Mid-South Conference regular season and tournament titles. Nationally, Lindsey Wilson has reached a pair of national semifinals in four trips to the NAIA National Tournament.
McGuinness joined the Blue Raider women's soccer staff following a stellar four-year career and a stint as the head girl's soccer coach at Elizabethtown High School. While at Elizabethtown, McGuinness led her squad to the district title.
As a student-athlete, McGuinness helped Lindsey Wilson to the 2004 national championship where she was named the tournament's most valuable player. McGuinness did not allow a goal during the 2004 postseason run, helping the Blue Raiders to the program's first national title.
