Head Coach - 1st Season

Daniel Finn begins his first season as the head coach of the Lindsey Wilson College men's and women's tennis teams in 2010-11.

Finn comes to Lindsey Wilson College after two seasons as head coach at Union College where he was the 2010 NAIA East Region Men's Tennis Coach of the Year.

In two seasons at Union, Finn led the Bulldog tennis programs to national success, including the program's first ITA Southeast Region Singles' Championship and helping three men's players earn NAIA national singles' rankings at the same time at No. 14, 22 and 36.

Individually, Finn received multiple coaching honors including the regional coach of the year award and being named the 2011 and 2010 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Tennis Coach of the Year.

In Finn's first season at Union he recruited six new student-athletes to the men's team that helped the Bulldogs win 17 matches, including a conference championship and an appearance in the round of 16 at the NAIA National Championship.

On the women's side, Finn brought Aurelie Hascoet to Union where she earned an NAIA women's national ranking of No. 28 in singles and was named the AAC Women's Player of the Year.

Prior to his stint at Union, Finn was the head men's tennis coach at NCAA Division III Simpson College. In one season with the Storm, Finn guided the team to a 9-13 record after inheriting a program that was 0-11 in 2008.

Finn spent two seasons as an assistant at Lindsey Wilson following his playing career as a Blue Raider.

During those two seasons as the Blue Raiders' assistant, Finn helped coach Candela Castanon to an individual national championship and helped the Lindsey Wilson women's tennis program to back-to-back appearances in the NAIA National Championship semifinals.

As a student-athlete, Finn was a member of four Mid-South Conference championships teams and reached the NAIA National Tournament in each of his four seasons as a player. Lindsey Wilson reached the quarterfinals of the 2005 NAIA National Championship.

Finn graduated from Lindsey Wilson in 2008. He and his wife Roxanne have one daughter, Payton.
