
Edwin Hagans begins his eighth season in 2012-13 as the Lindsey Wilson College cross country and track & field coach.
Hagans led the women's cross country program to a pair of Mid-South Conference titles in 2006 and 2007 and the men's program to its only MSC title in 2007.
Hagans owns five MSC Coach of the Year awards in cross country during his tenure as the Blue Raiders' coach. He was named the MSC Men's Coach of the Year in 2006, 2007 and 2008 and was also selected as the MSC Women's Coach of the Year in 2006 and shared the award in 2005.
Under Hagans' direction, 13 men and 13 women harriers earned all-conference honors, including two MSC Runner of the Year honorees. Hagans has coached a pair of NAIA All-Americans and 16 student-athletes -- eight men and eight women -- at the cross country national championships.
In addition to his cross country coaching duties, Hagans leads the indoor and outdoor track & field teams during the spring season.
Prior to Lindsey Wilson, Hagans served as an assistant coach in track & field at Berea College. While an assistant coach at Berea, Hagans coached six track and field national championship participants. Two became All-Americans, one was a two-time national champion, and one was an All-American in two events.
Prior to his coaching career, Hagans was a four-year letter winner in track as an undergraduate. He earned All-American honors in the 400-meter hurdles in 1995 and was selected Most Valuable Track and Field Athlete at Berea College in three of his four seasons.
Aside from his coaching, Hagans served as a professor of fitness and wellness at Eastern Kentucky University. Hagans was also a personal trainer in Orlando, Florida.
Hagans graduated from Berea in 1995 and later completed his master's degree at Eastern Kentucky University in 2003. He and his wife, Mandy, have two children, Adin and Alex.

Andrew Nash begins his fourth season at Lindsey Wilson College in 2012-13 as the Blue Raiders' assistant cross country and track & field coach.
Prior to Lindsey Wilson, Nash spent two seasons as assistant cross country and track & field coach at Berea College. In the two years before serving as a coach, Nash worked as a student athletic trainer for the Mountaineers.
As a student athlete at Berea, Nash was awarded the Coach Roland Wierwillie Athletic Award in 2007 and named an NAIA Academic All-American in track & field in 2007 and 2008.
While on the coaching staff at Berea, Nash trained and conditioned over 100 runners, jumpers and throwers. Nash coached five NAIA track & field national qualifiers, two NAIA Academic All-Americans, four Mid-South Conference individual champions and helped the Mountaineers break two school records in javelin and discuss in 2009.
Nash is a member of the Kentucky Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (KAHPERD) and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). He has also served as a volunteer with the 2007 Special Olympics in track and field.
Nash has also earned his certification as a Level 1 Coach through USA Track & Field.
Nash graduated from Berea in 2008.
