Shaun Cozart begins his third season as the men's and women's head golf coach at Lindsey Wilson College in 2012-13.
During his first two seasons, Cozart has led the Blue Raiders women's team to a Mid-South Conference regular season and tournament championship and a top-10 finish at the NAIA National Championships.
His men's teams own a pair of runner-up finishes at the MSC Championships.
In 2011-12, Cozart coached his first NAIA All-American. He has also coached six all-conference selections -- three men and three women -- and a MSC Women's Golfer of the Year and the MSC Women's Freshman of the Year.
Last season, Cozart was selected by his peers as the MSC Women's Golf Coach of the Year.
In his two seasons, Cozart has led the men's team to two tournament wins and the women's team to four tournament titles.
Prior to becoming the head coach, Cozart served as The Pines at Lindsey Wilson's Clubhouse Golf Pro and Assistant Director of Golf Operations.
Before coming to Lindsey Wilson, Cozart worked at multiple golf courses around his hometown of LaVergne, Tenn. Cozart passed the Player Aptitude Test (PAT) in preparation of becoming a teaching professional.
As a former collegiate baseball player, a majority of Cozart's coaching experience comes from the diamond. He has had stints as assistant coach with Martin Luther King High School in Tennessee and with the Nashville Tigers -- a summer league team made up of high school and collegiate players.
Cozart's prep golf career includes lettering four years at LaVergne High School where he qualified for the region tournament in his junior and senior seasons.
Cozart graduated from Union University in 2009. He is married to Lindsey Wilson softball coach Ashley McCool-Cozart.
