The Blue Raider duo -- seeded third in the eight-team tournament -- defeated Texas A&M-Texarkana's Wendy French and Daejia Lynch 6-1, 6-1.
Gligic and Peric advance to meet second-seeded Emerald Able and Margarida Abreu from Georgia Gwinnett. Able and Abreu won their quarterfinal match 6-3, 6-4.
First serve is slated for 2:30 p.m. CT on Friday. The match can be seen on the ITA website.
The other semifinal match also features seeded teams.
The championship match is scheduled for Saturday.
According to the ITA website, the ITA Oracle Cup has history dating back to 1986, and it is the only singles and doubles national championship event for the Division II and NAIA levels. This year, more than 8,000 players took part in a total of 60 regional tournaments to gain entry into the ITA Oracle Cup field.
