COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team fell ten spots to No. 22 in the latest NAIA Coaches' Top-25 poll, the national office announced Tuesday.
The Blue Raiders (4-4-3) earned 171 voting points to extend the longest active streak in the Top-25 with 201-consecutive mentions dating back to the start of the 1999 season.
The top five remained unchanged in this week's poll as Martin Methodist earned the top spot for the fourth straight week after receiving all 18 first place votes. Spring Arbor (Mich.), Northwestern Ohio, William Carey (Miss.) and Columbia (Mo.) round out the top five.
Mid-South Conference member Cumberland moved up in the rankings eight spots to No. 17 in the poll with 220 voting points.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Oct. 14 when they take on Pikeville (Ky.) at Walter S. Reuling Stadium at 5 p.m. CT.
