The senior setter from Louisville, Kentucky posted 36 assists, three kills, two service aces and four block assists in Lindsey Wilson's 3-0 win over No. 17-ranked Georgetown (Ky.). She then finished the week by posting a double-double with 34 assists and 11 digs in the Blue Raiders three-set win over No. 10-ranked Missouri Baptist.
Montano averaged 1.2 kills per game with a .357 attacking percentage. She also recorded five block assists and three service aces in the two matches this week. Her 11.0 assists per set rank her first in the conference and her 636 assists put her second in the MSC.
It marks the fourth time this season and the 14th time overall Montano has collected the conference weekly award.
Sobolewska recorded a pair of double-doubles in the two wins over Georgetown and Missouri Baptist.
The freshman outside hitter from Zuromin, Poland began the week with 14 kills and 13 digs in the sweep of Georgetown. Then in the three-set win over Missouri Baptist, she tallied 10 kills and 13 digs. She finished the week with averaging 4.0 kills per set with a .317 attacking percentage while adding a pair of service aces and two block assists in the two matches.
Sobolewska ranks second in the conference in hitting percentage (.326) and third in kills per set (3.3). She earns her second weekly honor this season and of her career.
The No. 2-ranked Blue Raiders remain unbeaten and are 19-0 overall and 8-0 in the MSC.
