SAVANNAH, Ga. -- The Lindsey Wilson College softball team won three of four games over the weekend at the Savannah College of Art & Design Smash Hit Classic.

After dropping their first game 4-3 in eight innings to Notre Dame (Ohio) College, the Blue Raiders won three straight to close the weekend. Lindsey Wilson beat King (Tenn.) College 8-4, avenged its loss to Notre Dame with a 5-2 win and beat Edward Waters (Fla.) College 15-0 in five innings.

The Blue Raiders improve to 4-5 overall.

Lindsey Wilson senior Ashley Vice hit .545 (6-for-11) in the four games while senior Shayla Cain added a .333 batting average with two home runs and four RBIs.

Senior pitchers Leigh Ann Moore and Danielle Clark and freshman Olivia Holland each picked up a win during the event.
