COLUMBIA, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson head baseball coach Jonathan Burton announced the addition of Cody Andreychuk to the staff for the upcoming 2017-18 season on Wednesday.
"We are extremely excited to add Cody to our staff and program," Burton said. "His work ethic is noticeably contagious and we are looking forward to seeing him bring that energy to our team. He will be a great asset to our program as well as our institution."

I am blessed to be able to take my journey to Lindsey Wilson and I can't wait to make an impact in the lives of these student-athletes throughout their time here."
Andreychuk comes to Lindsey Wilson from Pikeville (Ky.) where he recently helped guide the Bears to a 27-24 overall record in 2017, including an appearance at the Mid-South Conference Baseball Tournament Final Site in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The 27 wins were the most for a Pikeville team since the 2001 season.
During the 2016 season at Pikeville, Andreychuk helped the Bears to a 25-23 record, posting an 11-10 mark in conference play to finish third in the MSC regular season standings that year.
Andreychuk has also spent time coaching in the Cape Cod Baseball League as an assistant coach with the Hyannis Harbor Hawks where served as the hitting coach.
Prior to entering the coaching ranks, Andreychuk played collegiately at NCAA Division II member Tusculum (Tenn.) College where he was a preseason all-conference selection and batted .438 during his junior campaign. He also spent time playing in the West Coast League for the Kelowna Falcons where he batted .299 in 130 at bats.
Andreychuk graduated from Tusculum.
