COLUMBIA, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson baseball's Wednesday evening matchup with Brescia has been moved from Owensboro, Kentucky to Columbia at Egnew Park with first pitch slated for 4 p.m. CT out at the Lindsey Wilson Sports Park.
The change in the location comes after the Owensboro area was hit hard with spring downpours and the field conditions were determined to be unplayable.
The Blue Raiders (25-20) and Bearcats (13-27) met twice earlier this season at Egnew Park, splitting a doubleheader on March 28.
Brescia is 5-5 in their last 10 games and has won four consecutive. The Bearcats swept Asbury (Ky.) in a four-game series over the weekend. Brescia limited Asbury to just five runs in four games.
Zach Johnson leads the team in batting average (.359) and RBIs (24) while Alex Flock has hit a team-high five home runs. Tanner Tow leads the team in wins (4) and earned run average (2.57) while Hunter Kloke has recorded a team-high 45 strikeouts.
