COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's track and field team won seven events and finished first out of six teams at the Lindsey Wilson College Invitational Friday-Saturday at Blue Raider Stadium.
Along with the seven victories the Blue Raiders set four stadium records and recorded three national "A" Standards.
Goabaone Mosheleketi won the men's long jump with an "A" Standard distance of 7.46 meters. The 7.46 meters are a Stadium record, breaking the previous record of 7.29 meters set in 2015.
The men's 4x100 meter relay team of Christian Davis, Holt Keeling, Kevin Hallmon and Dequan Robinson finished first with an "A" Standard time of 41.29 seconds breaking the previous stadium record of 41.98 in 2015.
Cameron Murphy won the 110 meter hurdles and the 400 meter hurdles. In the 110 meter hurdles he ran a time of 15.91 seconds and in the 400 meter hurdles finished in 55.67 seconds. Robinson won the 400 meter dash, Jonah Quire won the pole vault. Anthony Hampton threw 41.15 meters to win the discus throw.
The 4x400 meter relay team of Austin Sparrow, Keeling, Bryson Morris and Quire set the stadium record with a time of 3:24.19 breaking the previous record of 3:27.27 set in 2015. Hallmon recorded an "A" Standard time of 10.65 seconds in the 100 meter dash finishing in second. Hallmon also broke the stadium record time of 10.67 set in 2016.
Trajon Hall finished second in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:00.80 and Ryan Casey finished second in the pole vault with a distance of 2.74 meters. Michael Redmon jumped 6.74 meters in the long jump to finish in third and Anthony Thompson finished third in the 400 meter hurdles.
Corey Hinkle threw 42.80 meters in the javelin throw to finish second. Hinkle finished sixth in the discus and eighth in the hammer throw. Dakotah Dunn placed in the top-five in three throwing events. He finished second in the hammer throw, third in the shot put and 4th in the discus.
The Blue Raiders are back in action on April 1 at the Centre College Invitational
