WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College tennis teams opened the 2008 season with a pair of wins today at University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) in a non-conference match.

The Lindsey Wilson men won 9-0 while not losing a set. The Blue Raider women won 8-1.

Lindsey Wilson’s David Lopez-Heredia and Justin Martin each won in the five and six singles without dropping a game as each won 6-0, 6-0.

On the women’s side, Lindsey Wilson’s Fadzia Mawizre, Jessica Weyrueter and Agnes Wojtowicz each won 6-0, 6-0 in singles to help led the women.
