COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's swim team is tied for eighth place in the latest NAIA Men's Swimming and Diving Coaches' Poll, officials from the national office announced on Thursday.
Keiser (Fla.) continues to hold the top spot with four first-place votes. SCAD Savannah (Ga.) comes in at No. 2 with the final first-place votes, while Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) is No. 3.
The Blue Raiders are tied with fellow Mid-South Conference member Lindenwood-Belleville in eighth place, while Cumberlands (Ky.) is tied for fifth.
The team ratings are conducted by a committee of NAIA Swimming and Diving coaches three times during the season using the most current "top times" as the primary source of ranking.
Lindsey Wilson is coming off a trio of dual meet wins over the weekend over Milligan (Tenn.), Warren Wilson (N.C.) and Transylvania (Ky.).
The national office also released the fourth top times report of the season earlier this week.
Individually, Clemens Paetzold ranks in the top-10 in three separate events, while Jonas Mueller boasts the fifth-quickest time in the 100-yard breaststroke, and Iker Larzabal adds the 10th-fastest time in the 200-yard freestyle.
In relay events, Lindsey Wilson ranks in the top right of each event, highlighted by the fourth-fastest time this year in the 800-yard freestyle relay.
