GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men’s and women’s indoor track & field teams competed at the DePauw (Ind.) University Classic over the weekend at the James A. Hollensteiner Track.

The Lindsey Wilson teams matched 21st place finishes and each scored two points in the 19-event meet.

Lindsey Wilson freshman Christopher Kipchirchir scored the men’s two points with a seventh place finish in the 800 meter run. Kipchirchir finished with a time of 2:00.50.

Birmingham Southern junior Blake Daniel won the event with a meet record 1:54.54.

Junior Kristina Wimsatt scored the Lindsey Wilson women’s two points in the long jump. Wimsatt’s leap of 16 feet 7 inches (5.05 meters) was good enought for a seventh place finish in the event.
