CAMPBELLVILLE, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men’s and women’s basketball teams swept Mid-South Conference foe Campbellsville (Ky.) University tonight at Powell Athletic Center.
Lindsey Wilson senior center Terran Duncan scored a game-high 29 points to lead the Blue Raider women to the 76-68 win in the opener.
The Blue Raiders improve to 14-8 overall and 2-0 in the MSC with their sixth straight win. Campbellsville falls to 13-9 overall and 0-2 in conference play.
In the nightcap, Lindsey Wilson junior guard George White scored a career-high 31 points to lead the men to a 60-57 upset win over No. 15-ranked Campbellsville.
Lindsey Wilson improves to 13-8 overall and 1-1 in the MSC with the win. Campbellsville falls to 17-6 overall and 0-2 in conference play.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Saturday as the Blue Raiders host West Virginia Tech University at Biggers Sports Center in a women’s and men’s doubleheader. The women are scheduled to tip-off at 2 p.m. CT with the men’s game to follow.
