Senior foward Terran Duncan leads the Blue Raiders into the Campbellsville Classic this weekend.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men’s and women’s basketball teams dropped out of the NAIA Top-25 polls in the first in-season coaches’ poll released today.

Both teams are among the teams receiving votes after a No. 25-ranking in the preseason polls.

The Lindsey Wilson men (6-4) received nine points from the 11 conference raters. Including the teams receiving votes, the Blue Raiders are 35th in the first poll of the regular season.

The Blue Raiders have won three straight, including a pair of overtime wins during the modest winning streak.

Mountain State (W.Va.) University (7-0) sits atop the poll with 328 points, including 10 first-place votes. Concordia (Calif.) University and Georgetown (Ky.) College are tied at No. 2 with 308 points. Georgetown received the final first-place votes.

The Lindsey Wilson women (5-4) received two points in the first regular season coaches’ poll. The Blue Raiders -- who ended a three-game losing streak in their last outing -- are 36th.

Union (Tenn.) University is (10-0) ranked No. 1 after receiving 330 points, including all 11 first-place votes. Vanguard (Calif.) University (5-1) is No. 2 with 313 points.

The Lindsey Wilson women return to action at 7 p.m. CT on Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, as the Blue Raiders face No. 20-ranked Lambuth (Tenn.) University at the Campbellsville (Ky.) University Classic.

The Lindsey Wilson men return to action at 4 p.m. CT on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007, as the Blue Raiders host Oakwood (Ala.) University at Biggers Sports Center.
