CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The Lindsey Wilson College bowling team finished 20th out of 42 teams at the Hoinke Bearcat Open on January 14-15 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The Blue Raiders finished with 8,851 points in nine games. Saginaw Valley (Mich.) State won the tournament with 9,923 points.
Junior Michael Mynear led the Lindsey Wilson squad with a 10th place finish. Mynear bowled a 214 average over nine games with a 268 as his high game. Mynear finished 6-2-1 individually. In the tournament, 236 bowlers competed.

Senior Dustin Beard finished 7-2 with an average game of 194. Beard's high game was 223.

Lindsey Wilson senior Jonathan Wood averaged a 182 with a high game of 209. Wood was 6-3 overall.

Sophomore Jeff Bivins finished the tournament with a high game of 213. Bivins averaged a 180 score and was 2-6-1.

Blue Raider sophomore Jake Alexander completed the Lindsey Wilson team with a record of 4-4-1. Alexander averaged 172 pins and compiled a high game of 195.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action on January 21-22 as the Blue Raiders compete in the Blue and Gold Classic in South Bend, Indiana.
