COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's and women's indoor track and field teams travel to Columbus, Ohio, Friday to compete in the Ohio State Buckeye Tune Up hosted by NCAA Division I member Ohio State University.
This marks the final regular season indoor track and field meet for both teams this year.
The Blue Raiders most recently competed at the Fred Wilt Invitational on Feb. 14.
On the men's side, John-Paul Williamson and Carmetrick Ross earned national standards in the 5000 meter run and triple jump events, respectively. Marcus Terrell and Dante Johnson took fifth and sixth place, respectively in the 600 meter run.
Janice Brown and Kimberley Stevens led the women's side recording national standards in their respective events. Brown earned a "B" and "A" standard in the long jump and triple jump events, while Stevens earned an "A" standard in the triple jump.
Lindsey Wilson will be led by Austin Childress, Josh Kles, Josh Corral, Greg Hayes, Johnson, Ross, Terrell and Williamson on the men's side. Brown, Maria Cozzens, Kevia Gonzales, Stevens and Maryssa Stewart headline the women's squad for the event.
Field events begin at 3 p.m. CT and running events start at 3:30 p.m. CT inside the French Fieldhouse.
