COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team sent their seniors off with a 3-0 sweep over visiting Pikeville (Ky.) College tonight at Biggers Sports Center.

Lindsey Wilson senior middle blocker Lucy Ng’ang’a recorded a match-high 29 kills to help the Blue Raiders to the 30-24, 30-26 and 30-16 win.

With the win, the Blue Raiders (11-21, 6-4 in the Mid-South Conference) lock up the third seed in the MSC Tournament in two weeks. Pikeville falls to 15-18 overall and 4-6 in the MSC.

Sophomore setter Sarah Kline led the Blue Raiders with 30 assists and sophomore outside hitter Kate Smallwood recorded a team-high 11 digs.

Senior outside hitter Roxanne Kirchner recorded five kills and 10 digs in her final match at Biggers Sports Center. Senior outside hitter Aubrey Mlachnik added eight digs and 1-1/2 blocks in her home finale.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action this weekend as the Blue Raiders travel to the Huntington (Ind.) University Tournament in Huntington.
