COLUMBIA, Ky. -- A pair of former basketball greats are scheduled to be inducted into the Lindsey Wilson College Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, September 28.

Shelia Isenberg McGeorge, who played for the Blue Raider women's basketball team from 1986-90, and Joe McGeorge, who played for the men's basketball program from 1990-94, are the members of the Class of 2013.

This year marks a first time a husband and wife will be inducted into the Lindsey Wilson Athletic Hall of Fame.

"Every hall of fame class has been unique and filled with extraordinary former student-athletes, coaches or administrators," said Lindsey Wilson Athletics Director Willis Pooler. "This year's class is no exception. Not only are Shelia and Joe worthy of this honor for their incredible accomplishments, but to be inducted into the hall of fame in the same year is very special.

"I'm very pleased to welcome Shelia and Joe into the Lindsey Wilson College Athletic Hall of Fame."

The 2013 class will be inducted in a ceremony prior to kickoff at the Lindsey Wilson and Faulkner (Ala.) University football game. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 1:15 p.m. CT on Saturday, September 27 at Blue Raider Stadium.

Shelia Isenberg (1986-90) earned All Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors twice while a member of the Blue Raiders.

She is one of nine players in Lindsey Wilson women's basketball history to score 1,000 points and one of four women with at least 1,000 points and 800 rebounds.

Shelia ranks in the program's Top-10 in points (1,103), rebounds (844), field goals (443) and shooting percentage (51.6 percent). During her 101-game career, Shelia averaged 10.9 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.

Shelia is the fourth women's basketball player to be inducted into the Lindsey Wilson College Athletic Hall of Fame.

He concluded his career with 1,444 points, which ranks fourth on the program's all-time scoring list.
