Senior Lucy Ng'ang'a led the Blue Raiders with 15 kills.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team fell in three games on Thursday night by visiting Spalding (Ky.) University at Biggers Sports Center.

Lindsey Wilson senior middle blocker Lucy Ng’ang’a led the Blue Raiders with 15 kills in the 24-30, 17-30, 25-30 loss.

The Blue Raiders drop to 10-15 overall, while Spalding improves to 21-6 with the win.

Lindsey Wilson senior outside hitter Roxanne Kirchner added eight kills and 11 digs in the loss. Sophomore setter Kelley Burke contributed a team-high 25 assists. Sophomore libero Kate Smallwood added team-highs with 19 digs and three service aces.

Spalding Senior Jessica Lechleiter led the Golden Eagles with nine kills. Sophomore setter Beth Leason contributed a team-high 16 assists.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 6 p.m. CT on Saturday, October 23, as the Blue Raiders host conference foe Georgetown (Ky.) College at Biggers Sports Center.
