2012-13 Schedule

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Eighteen home games, including five straight to open the season, highlight the 2012-13 Lindsey Wilson College men's basketball schedule, released by head coach Paul Peck on Thursday afternoon.

The season opens at 7 p.m. CT on Nov. 2 against Virginia-Lynchburg in Biggers Sports Center, the site of the Blue Raiders' first five games.

Included in the home stand is the start of Mid-South Conference play, beginning on Nov. 15 against UVa.-Wise and Nov. 17 against Pikeville (Ky.). The Blue Raiders captured the MSC Regular-Season Championship last season.

Lindsey Wilson travels to Campbellsville (Ky.) early in the season on Nov. 20 at the Powell Athletic Center, while the home game against the Tigers isn't until Feb. 25.

The Blue Raiders finished last season ranked 14th in the Postseason NAIA Coaches' Top-25 Poll and will play three teams included in that final poll this season. Georgetown (Ky.) College finished ranked fifth and hosts Lindsey Wilson on Nov. 29 with a return trip to Columbia on Feb. 23.

Lindsey Wilson plays Robert Morris (Ill.) on Dec. 7 in Campbellsville, which was ranked 10th in the postseason, while No. 9 Martin Methodist (Tenn.) faces the Blue Raiders the next day in Campbellsville as well.

After making it back to the NAIA National Championship for the first time since 2009 last season, Lindsey Wilson is set to play five teams from that championship field. Campbellsville, Georgetown and Cumberlands (Ky.) are the MSC teams from nationals, while Martin Methodist and Robert Morris also competed.

The MSC Tournament is scheduled for March 1-3 at the Frankfort Convention Center in Frankfort, Ky., with the NAIA National Championship to follow on March 13-19 at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.
