Six regular-season races are on the 2012 slate for Blue Raider cross country

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson men's and women's cross country is set to compete in six regular-season races in 2012 in the schedule released be head coach Edwin Hagans on Friday.
The opening start takes place at 3 p.m. CT on Aug. 31 at the Shawnee State Invitational in Portsmouth, Ohio.
September is set to be the busiest month with three races on the slate, starting with another trip to Ohio on Sept. 7 for the Queen City Invitational in Cincinnati. That race is followed by two in Kentucky with the Berea College Invitational and Greater Louisville Classic.
The Blue Raiders will run twice in October at the Wilmington Invitational in Wilmington, Ohio on Oct. 12 and the Southeastern Classic in Berea, Ky., on Oct. 20.
Postseason racing begins with the Mid-South Conference Championships on Nov. 3 in Rio Grande, Ohio, followed by the NAIA National Championships on Nov. 17 at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site in Vancouver, Wash.
