BARDSTOWN, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men’s golf team is third after the first round of the LWC Fall Invitational being played at Maywood Country Club.

The Blue Raiders fired a 302 over the 7,245-yard, par-72 Maywood layout and sit six strokes behind first-round leader Campbellsville (Ky.) University (296).

Ohio Dominican University is second following the first round with a team-total of 301.

King (Tenn.) College and Cumberland (Tenn.) University are tied for fourth after firing 313s.

Lindsey Wilson juniors Abraham Gali and Carlos Navarro are tied for eighth after the first round with three-over par 75s. Sophomore Travis Radford and freshmen Joe Hood and Ross Crowe are each tied for 11th following 76s.

Campbellsville’s Brandon Young sits atop the leader board with an even par 72.

Junior Zach Charbonneau is tied for 24th with an 80 and freshman Chris Lewis is 47th after a first round 90. Both are playing as individuals.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Tuesday for the tournament’s final round at Maywood.
