COLUMBIA, Ky. -- A trio of Lindsey Wilson College men's soccer student-athletes are excelling in the United Soccer League's Premier Development League this summer.
Eddy Campbell, Sicelo Buthelezi and Lebogang Moloto have each earned PDL weekly honors this season.
Campbell scored twice and added an assist for the Ottawa Fury in three wins last week to secure his place on the PDL's Team of the Week, announced on Thursday, June 7.
This season, Campbell is second on the Fury with five points and two goals through four games.
Buthelezi earned the weekly honor two weeks ago on Thursday, May 31 as he helped the Thunder Bay Chill to a pair of shutout wins from his defender position.
Moloto earned honorable mention honors for the season's first Team of the Week on Thursday, May 17 after recording three assists in the Des Moines Menace's 4-1 win over the St. Louis Lions.
The Premier Development League consists of 73 teams in nine divisions throughout the United States.
Campbell, Buthelezi and Moloto led Lindsey Wilson to the 2011 NAIA National Championship -- the program's ninth national title.
