The top-10 ranking is the highest of the season for the Blue Raiders

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's tennis team climbed to No. 10 in the NAIA Men's Tennis Coaches' Top-25 Postseason Poll, released on Tuesday by NAIA officials.

The Blue Raiders jumped two spots after sitting at No. 12 for the six consecutive rating periods.

Lindsey Wilson (19-6) reached the second round of the NAIA National Tournament last week before falling to No. 6-ranked Vanguard (Calif.) University in Mobile, Ala. The Blue Raiders received 219 voting points from the national raters to end the season in the top-10.

Lindsey Wilson leads four teams from the Mid-South Conference in the poll. Campbellsville University is No. 17 while University of Pikeville and Georgetown College each sit outside the Top-25 but both received votes in the poll.

Oklahoma Christian University sits atop the poll after winning the 2012 NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship last week. The Eagles received 312 voting points and all 12 first-place votes.

Fresno Pacific (Calif.) University is No. 2 in the poll with 302 voting points followed by No. 3-ranked Embry-Riddle (Fla.) University with 292 voting points.

The poll is voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each conference, the independents and unaffiliated groups.
