GREENEVILLE, Tenn. -- Kaitlin Allan finished the 2012 NAIA National Women's Golf Championship in a tie for 18th to narrowly miss the NAIA's all-tournament team on Friday at Link Hills Country Club.

Allan completed the tournament with a 4-over-par 77 today to end the four-day tournament with a stroke total of 305 (79-72-77-77).

Allan missed the all-tournament team -- the top 15 scores and ties -- by four strokes. The all-tournament team receives an automatic bid to the 2013 national championships.

After a solid opening nine -- one birdie, one bogey and seven pars -- Allan was up-and-down on her final nine of the tournament.

Allan opened the her back nine with a birdie to go to 1-under-par for the day and 8-over-par for the tournament and was nearing the top-10.

But back-to-back bogeys on her 11th and 12th holes all but ended Allan's hopes for all-tournament status.

The sophomore added bogeys on the par-5 fifth hole -- her 14th hole of the day as she opened on the back nine -- and par-4 eighth holes before closing with a birdie on her 72nd hole of the week.

For the tournament, Allan finished with 13 birdies -- compared to five last season at Link Hills.

University of Victoria's Megan Woodland captured the individual national championship with a four-round total of 292 (73-70-76-73).

University of British Columbia won the team national title with a team-total of 1,211 (305-299-304-303). Savannah College of Art and Design finished runner-up with a 1,213 (310-295-304-304).

Allan continues an impressive streak of top-20 finishes for Lindsey Wilson golfers. Her tie for 18th makes the seventh straight season at least one Blue Raider finished in the top-20.
