LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's and women's track & field teams competed tonight in a non-scoring meet at the University of Louisville Cardinal Twilight at Cardinal Park.

Seven Blue Raider men and one Lindsey Wilson woman competed in the annual event that consists mostly of NCAA schools.

Lindsey Wilson's Sharon Ronoh recorded the top finish of the night for the Blue Raiders with a second place finish in the 5,000-meter run. Ronoh ended with a time of 16 minutes and 52.94 seconds to finish five seconds behind South Florida's Nicole Rozario in the event.

Ronoh shattered her own program record by 28 seconds en route to the runner-up finish.

On the men's side, Joshua Kles joined Ronoh in as a record-breaker on the night as Kles broke his own shot put record with a throw of 49 feet and 5-3/4 inches.

Takudzwa Mhlanga earned a B qualifying time in the 110-meter hurdles by crossing the line in 15-seconds flat. His time narrowly -- .18 seconds -- missed qualifying for the nine-man finals.

Mhlanga, Kameron Spivey, John Quinn and Erico Smith led the 4x100-meter relay team to a third place finish. The quartet finished with a time of 42.05 seconds. Bellarmine University's relay team won the race with a time of 41.55 seconds.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action May 24-26 at the NAIA Championships in Marion, Ind.
