Justin Lowe earns first-place finish for Blue Raiders in the men's A criterium

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Taking on the 1.5 kilometer criterium course at the Indy Cycloplex, the Lindsey Wilson cycling team took second place out of 17 programs on Saturday with Justin Lowe leading the charge in the men's A portion with a first-place finish.

Lowe was backed up in the men's A by teammates Filip Capala in sixth place and Johnathan Freter taking 25th.

Good results continued in the men's B portion as Taylor Ladd earned a win with Reed Bagley taking seventh place and Zachary Abulencia crossing 10th.

The Blue Raiders had Hannah Hayduk, Yesica Mendoza and Brooke Crum finish in order at 12th, 13th and 14th place, respectively in the women's A. Tiana Row impressed in the women's B race with a second-place finish, while Vhasti Schmidt rounded out the finishers in eighth.

While the Blue Raiders were a strong second with 294 team points, it was Marian (Ind.) taking top team honors with 594 points. Purdue (Ind.) rounded out the top three with 163 points.

Lindsey Wilson is back in action on April 14-15 in the Eagle Hill Road Race and Team Time Trial hosted by Purdue at Fort Quiatenon in West Lafayette, Ind.
