COLUMBIA, Ky. -- In the midst of a three-week stretch where everything seems to be going right, the 13th ranked Lindsey Wilson baseball team looks to keep the good times rolling at 5 p.m. CT on Wednesday against Cumberland (Tenn.) at Egnew Park.

The Blue Raiders (31-10, 14-4 MSC) have won 16 straight games and are 17-6 in games outside of Mid-South Conference play.
Cumberland (23-20, 7-8 TSC) started out the season ranked seventh in the NAIA Preseason Top-25 Poll, but has since fallen out of the rankings.
The Bulldogs will still be a tough foe for Lindsey Wilson, holding an historical edge, as well as owning two wins earlier this season in February (2-0, 3-2). Cumberland is 58-8 all-time against Lindsey Wilson, including a 1-0 mark at Egnew Park.
Cumberland comes to town after splitting a home doubleheader against Indiana Southeast on Tuesday. Prior to that split, the Bulldogs had taken two in a doubleheader against Bryan (Tenn.).
Lindsey Wilson last lost on March 18 in the final game of an MSC doubleheader against Cumberlands (Ky.). Since then the team has earned a program-first national ranking at No. 16, won 16 straight and bumped up three spots in the poll to 13th.
Leading the charge at the plate has been center fielder Manuel Alonso with his .388 batting average that includes a team-leading 37 RBIs, a home run and nine doubles. Left fielder Adam Peacock and shortstop Leandro Perez continue to produce as well with .359 and .353 batting averages, respectively.
After Wednesday's contest, the Blue Raiders are back in action at 2 p.m. CT on Friday at St. Catharine, Ky., for the first of a three-game conference series in St. Catharine, Ky., that wraps up with two games at Noon CT on Saturday.
