LONDON, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's golf team shot its season low round of the spring on Thursday but trails by 14 shots at the midway point of the Southeastern Kentucky Intercollegiate hosted by University of the Cumberlands at Crooked Creek Golf Club.

The Blue Raiders shot a team-total of 324 today led by Kaitlin Allan's five-over par 78 (39-39) over the 5,640-yard, par-73 Crooked Creek layout.

Host Cumberlands leads the tournament after a 310 today.

Allan -- who had a pair of birdies and a team-best 11 pars during the opening round -- is tied for third in the 33-woman field. She is just three shots off the pace set by Cumberlands' Liz Stephens' 75 (37-38).

Lindsey Wilson's Paola Gonzalez is tied for sixth after a first round 80 (40-40). Gonzalez matched Allan's birdie total while producing eight pars in her opening 18 holes.

Kelsey Joslyn finished today's round in a tie for 10th after a nine-over par 82 (40-42) while Candace Stacy is 13th with an 84 (41-43). Jennifer MacKinnon completes the squad with a first-round 88 (46-42), good enough for a tie for 17th.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 9 a.m. CT on Friday in the Southeastern Kentucky Intercollegiate's final round.
