GENEVA, Ohio -- The 32nd annual Women's NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships are set to start Thursday in Geneva, Ohio. Lindsey Wilson College sends two student-athletes to compete in race walker Reini Brickson and distance runner Sharon Ronoh.

Brickson qualified fourth in the 3,000-meter race walk with a time of 16:00.23, while Ronoh qualified seventh in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 17:38.16.

The 5,000-meter run starts with prelims on Thursday and finals on Saturday, while the race walk is completed on Friday.

For the second-straight year, the SPIRE Institute Track and Field Sports Complex will host the event, which welcomes over 130 men's and women's teams from across the United States.

The national championships begin at 12:30 p.m. CT with the women's pentathlon.

Forty-two events are scheduled over the three-day span.

The track portion of the schedule begins on Thursday at 3 p.m. The events on Friday and Saturday are scheduled to kick off at 9 a.m.

The national championship awards ceremony begins at approximately 11 a.m. on Saturday, with the top six athletes in each event and top four relay teams earning points and achieving NAIA All-American honors.

Geneva marks the fifth different city to host this event, which began in 1966 with men's competition.

Thirteen different women's programs have won a national championship, with six of those being active NAIA schools. Nine programs boast at least two titles, led by the five earned from Wayland Baptist.
