PIPESTEM, W. Va. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men’s golf team is in third place after the first round of the Mid-South Conference Fall Tournament being played at Pipestem Golf Club.
The Blue Raiders shot a team-total of 290 over the 6,884-yard Pipestem course.
Campbellsville (Ky.) University is leading the tournament at the halfway point following a team-total of 280. University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) is second with a team-total of 286.
Lindsey Wilson junior Abraham Gali is tied for second after firing a three-under par 69. Gali trails Campbellsville’s Scott Webb, who shot a six-under par 66.
Lindsey Wilson freshman Joe Hood shot a one-over par 73, while junior Carlos Navarro and sophomore Travis Radford shot a 74. Freshman Ross Crowe shot a 77 to round out the Blue Raider team.
Junior Zach Charbonneau shot a season-best 74 and freshman Chris Lewis fired a 76 playing as individuals.
The Blue Raiders return to action at 9 a.m. CT on Thursday for the final round of the MSC Fall Tournament.
